Saigon is a Southeast Asian paradise city. Its ever-growing tourism industry has created a steady competition for luxury hotels, with the most sought-after amenity: A swimming pool. Here is a list of 7 luxurious hotels in Saigon with stunning onsite swimming pools to dive headfirst into.

1. Sedona Suites

Sedona Suites is located within Saigon Centre shopping mall, situated in the heart of the city, district 1. This 4-star luxury high rise apartment and hotel complex boasts a rooftop swimming pool overlooking the iconic Bitexco Tower and surrounding skyscrapers. In addition, there is some much-needed foliage to balance nature with the grayscale concrete jungle. Amenities include outdoor pod sofas, tables and chairs and a unique touch of style with partially submerged sun loungers annexed to the pool, to give you the relaxing feeling of floating on water. This pool is one of the best pools in Saigon to marvel at the Bitexco Tower.

Address: 28th floor of Saigon Center, 67 Le Loi Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.

2. Liberty Central Saigon City Point

Liberty Central has three fashionable hotels in Saigon’s chaotic District 1, so be sure to not get them mixed up on your visit to the pool. Liberty Central Saigon City point overshadows its two affiliates with its addition of an onsite rooftop Sky Bar (Above Sky Bar). Lay in the avocado shaped loungers by the pool, watch the sunset pass behind the city skyline, then enjoy the vibrant evening ambience of the city lights below. Get your fix of the pool in the daytime because you’re not allowed to dance in water past 10 pm. Remember, not all hotel swimming pools are exclusive to paying customers staying at the hotel. So do your research and find out for yourself if the pools in this list can be visited for a separate price.

Address: 59 Pasteur Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1

3. Le Meridien Saigon

Le Meridien Saigon Hotel is a 5-star rated hotel and is located by the river’s edge. Complete with an indoor pool and sundeck, the pool boats stunning views of the meandering blue snake like river below. The 26-meter length infinity edge pool is sophisticatedly designed for serious swimmers. It’s the perfect pool for improving your speed, cutting through the water. Suited more for couples and solo vacationers, don’t expect to see rubber rings and inflatable toys in this no-nonsense swimming pool.

Address: 3C Ton Duc Thang Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1

4. The Reverie Saigon

The Reverie Saigon is a magical looking property the moment you step inside. Glossy marble flooring, gold with leather furniture and floral mosaic murals; it will feel like you’ve walked into a wonderland. Located on the 6th floor, The Reverie swimming pool sits in the shadow of the 39-story glass towering hotel. The pool is shaped with very few edges, to symbolise the waves of the ocean and scattered with plenty of seating areas to escape the sun. If you’re looking for luxury, The Reverie and its pool are luxury epitomised.

Address: 22-36 Nguyen Hue Boulevard, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1

5. Sofitel Saigon Plaza

Sofitel Saigon Plaza is situated on 17 Le Duan Boulevard, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1. Everything about Sofitel is huge in size. The cream coloured building with shining bronze trim lights up the sky. There are banquet halls and restaurant tables with enough space to accommodate a small army. A reception foyer with pristine marble flooring, spacious enough to swing your luggage around. The same can be said about the swimming pool. Located on the 18th floor, this rooftop pool, lined with loungers and umbrellas can easily cater to all of its guests on a hot summer’s day. The pool is the perfect choice for families and large parties of people. Sofitel Saigon Plaza certainly lives by the mantra of ‘go big or go home’.

6. Hotel Des Arts Saigon – MGallery Collection

Hotel Des Arts Saigon – MGallery is yet another 5-star hotel, however this time isn’t located in the tourist hub of District 1. Instead located in District 3, bordering District 1, you will find a quieter atmosphere and a more local feel. In this pet friendly hotel, you will find a rooftop pool to rival the rest of this list, unfortunately it’s for in-house guest use only. From 6 am-10 pm, enjoy the cool waters overlooking the city, whilst sipping cocktails at the poolside sky bar. Once the DJs arrive, swap your swimming costume for evening attire and dance under the moonlight until 1 am.

Address: 76-78 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Ward 6, District 3.

7. The Myst Dong Khoi

Last and finally by no means least is The Myst Dong Khoi, located in District 1. This hotel complex stands out from the rest with its eye catching and intricate design. Triangle, square and irregular shaped windows cover the exterior of the whitewashed 5-star hotel. That’s not all. Vegetation can be seen escaping every crevice, culminating with a jungle inspired rooftop in which the swimming pool sits. The pool is long, yet narrow, surrounded by trees with flailing branches. If you’re a nature lover that wishes to envision themselves swimming in a rainforest, you should probably bring your towel to this swimming pool.

Address: 6-8 Ho Huan Nghiep Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1

Everyone wants that refreshing feeling of a swimming pool on a hot summer’s day, especially in such tropical climates of Saigon, Vietnam. Recent innovations have made way for so many hotels to choose from, all that’s left to do, is to decide which one of these luxury swimming pools to dive into.
